Habits Acquired Thanks to Sandy

'ello lovies!  A British accent was in order for today because... well, why not!  What are you all up to for this weekend?  We are starting our weekend early for the first time in a loooong time since my hubby/baby daddy/Josh is off.  I have a feeling we are going to spend a wild weekend stocking up on gas, finally going home, and hunting down perishable food.  After we scrub down the fridge.  We know how to part-ay.

Anyyyyways... this post is about all of the odd habits my children (furry ones included) have decide to pick up in the last ten days or so.  Yeah.  That's right.  They have all gotten quirky quickly.

First off, there is this little guy.  He has a new favorite toy.  A new love, if you will.  It's a Halloween decoration my mom has and it comes in the form of a plastic rabid rat.  Homeboy will not let this thing go.  I don't have the heart to take it away from him since he cries his little heart out when I do.  I just refuse to let him sleep with it.  Too creepy.

And then there is little Miss High Maintenance.  She has discovered the magic that is the hair straightener and now requests (often in the form of a temper tantrum) to have her perfect curls straightened.  Color me heart broken.

And then there are toys.  Since we are without our usual "at home" toys, we are busy playing with a free Hello Kitty we got at an arcade, the toy piano (MY EARS!), all of the cookware and tupperware we can get our hands on, and of course, a fake bloody rubber hand.  If you know me and my college girlfriends then you will know this last thing isn't all that abnormal.  Don't ask.

Finally, there is my little white princess.  She will not go out to go to the bathroom unless she is wearing her jacket.  Thank you Target $5 and under section.  How many clothes can one pup have?

I'm proud to say I have not acquired any new habits in the past couple of weeks.  Thanks Sandy, thanks a lot!

  1. I am cracking up at the rat! Is he still carrying that thing around? Too funny!
