Workout Wednesday

Ahhh it's that time again... workout/healthy Wednesday.  First, I have to admit, that I have been struggling with eating healthy (always a challenge), portion control and fitting in good workouts (something that isn't usually hard for me.)  I follow so many motivational/fitness/health crazy people on Insty and in blogland and see what they are doing and get all psyched up to do the same.  But, when push comes to shove, it is really stinking hard to stick with it.  I'm getting pretty random today to try to re-motivate myself and get myself back on track...

I'm still a hungry hungry hippo by late afternoon and in the evening, but my first two meals always seem to be really healthy!  Examples from this week below...
p.s. I started running my spinach through a food processor before adding it to omelets and I LOVE it.

We have the occasional warmer day (between 40 and 50 degrees!) so I have been trying to get the kiddos used to going on walks again.  It fills the late afternoon/early evening hours and gets us all moving!

I have never done a cleanse but I am super intrigued.  We talked about them some this past weekend and I am seriously thinking about it, although I doubt I could last more than two or three days.  Have any of you cleansed? Thoughts? Recommendations?

I found this random shirt on clearance at Target a couple of months back and got it in black and purple.  It is so comfy and super loose in the tummy while snug everywhere else.  I wish they still made it!

The kiss marks will never stop.  It's a new fun game at our house of me scrubbing them off and returning to find that they have returned.  Scrubbing is a workout, right?


  1. Before I was pregnant I ate on a 2 hour schedule- I have a huge problem with binge eating so this was the only way to keep me from getting too hungry late afternoon and binging. Breakfast- 9ish, snack 11, lunch at 1, snack at 3. Then I would try exercise around 5 and then eat around 7ish. As sad as it sounds I would get excited and count down the minutes until I could eat again- but I totally think it helped!

    1. I think that is what I have to do. I just love food and love eating. How do I get your self control?!

  2. You look great! I looked into the blueprint cleanse and tried a 3 day version and despised it! I need food and got a splitting headache! Plus I only lost a pound or 2 and it came right back! You should try the 10 day cleanse I can eat! :). Great job on the healthy meals!

    1. Is the 10 day cleanse what you recently did because you look phenomenal and I need to do what you did!

    2. Yes...I actually did the 24 day version though. But there is a 10 day cleanse portion. Email me ill tell you how it works (it's actually easy!!!)
