Life: Thanksgiving

Hello hello and happy Monday lovelies!  I hope everyone had a fabulous long Thanksgiving weekend! It seems like Thanksgiving was already so long ago and we are already fully in the throws of Christmas.  I need a pause button or a constant stream of Starbucks to keep up with it all.  Let's rewind and pretend it is still Thanksgiving, though, since I'm so behind at everything.  The Thanksgiving fairies must have fluttered by our house (at the beach.  Because New Jersey in November is obvious)  because these two got along for large chunks of time.

We managed to squeeze in most of our food shopping the day before.  If you know my family then you will not be surprised by this at all.  Avery took charge of things, including my dad.

Josh and I attempted a picture of ourselves.  Avery was not willing to do this for us and this was the only non-blurry shot we got.  It's a framer.

After I got dressed, I realized that I managed to wear the same shirt two Thanksgivings in a row.  I think this is a sign that I need to expand my wardrobe more aka go shopping.

A gratuitous shot of our spread was necessary.  Since we were at the beach house there was no fancy table setting and we let Greyson choose the place mats.  He went with the obvious choice of any one year old boy: trains.

We managed to do an entirely gluten free Thanksgiving this year from the rolls to the stuffing to the pie.   I promise we didn't even taste the difference!

I argued and bribed to attempt to take a cute picture of these two to no avail.  This was the best I could do.  Greyson was in between sobs and Avery had managed to smear my mom's lipstick all over her face.  Ah, reality.

Gluten free pumpkin pie was so good!  I got the pre-made gluten free crusts at Wegman's and plan on trying a chicken pot pie with them soon!

I hope you all had a fabulous holiday!  I am off to hit up the Cyber Monday sales and make a dent in getting this holiday shopping finished!
