Ahhh it's Wednesday. Time to talk about workouts. Clearly, I have been MIA on this topic for (ahem) quite some time. But not for bad reasons! A few weeks ago I started the Advocare 24 Day Challenge after seeing all of Lauren's AMAZING results. Clearly, everything I had been doing for the last year wasn't working for me. I haven't done any "after" pictures yet, just "befores" and I am still going but I thought I would share the results I have had.
I have lost seven pounds and four inches total this past month. It hasn't been too hard or too easy.I have given up (gasp) coffee.. for the most part. I have a TON more energy... to the point that I am awake late at night and up early - and not falling asleep on the couch. I would say that I eat clean 75 percent of the time. I have learned to control my indulgences better. I keep track of my water intake, take my supplements, work out less but more consistently and try to keep my alcohol drinking to weekends only. I'm not saying this is the right way, but for me it has been the best thing I could do. I am finally on the path to getting back to pre-baby weight and, more importantly, I feel a million times better and have a significant increase in my energy - a necessity for me. I am off to an early morning gym sesh now! Any and all tips/advice are always recommended!
