Mother's Day Weekend

Every year when Mother's Day rolls around I sort of come to grips with the fact that I actually have kids.  Don't get me wrong, I am not implying that I do not like having children at all, or anything like that - more that it seems like yesterday I wasn't much older than them and every minute with them seems to be going by faster than the last.  Weren't they just babies?  Now they are talking, counting, singing... just little people who are turning into older little people by the day.  How do I make time slow down?  I want to appreciate and soak in every moment that I can with them, but the older they get, the busier we all get.  We spent Mother's Day this year just hanging out and doing everything together with no agenda, and no massive to-do list and it was fantastic!

Morning faces...

Goodies from my little ones (all picked by Avery!)

Wore my new Avery-chosen top!

And they may have had their moments which led to a pitcher of sangria for mom and dad...

But we made up for it by giving them sugar (or the cupcake of their choice at Georgetown Cupcakes.)

These two were so tired after a day running around the city - and so was I!  I may or may not have watched them sleep after they were all tucked in and started counting down until they wake up because I miss them even when they're asleep.  #momproblems

I hope everyone had a wonderful day with their loved ones!
