Friday Favorites

Happy Friday lovelies!! I'm linking up with Amanda for another dose of Friday Favorites!

Favorite Drink...
ALL OF THEM.  I am apparently a total beverage junkie lately.  Left to right: pumpkin cider, pumpkin spice latte, and Irish coffee.  A lot of ciders are gluten free, making up for the lack of beer in my life these days (praise hands emoji!)  I know how bad the PSL is, but this is my very first one all season and I enjoyed every last sip.  Irish coffee is also my jam and I fully support adding Bailey's to all coffees.

Favorite Food: Cake
I made a gluten free cake for Josh's birthday last week.  If you're gluten free, definitely try XO Baking Co.'s mixes.  They're more labor intensive and require more ingredients than a typical box mix, but they are the tastiest gluten free option.  I tried to make it look scary, but I don't know if it ended up looking like spider webs or brains, or what exactly?

Favorite Time: The Weekend
I really like the weekend lately.  Like a lot.  Both kids spent at least one day home sick this week, on top of two days of school being closed and Avery having half days.  They sure do tear through this house like little tornados, and I feel like nothing is done at the end of the day.  But, even when they're both sick and at the doctor's office, I think they're pretty darn cute.  And, yes, my son wears an Elsa dress basically everywhere.

Favorite Shopping: Fabletics
Have you guys heard of Fabletics?  It's another membership service thingy blah, blah, blah, but, BUT they have awesome workout clothes.  Like I am stalking their camo and grey capri pants for restocking. I have received two outfits so far, and they tops are so flowy and fun, the sports bras are ridiculously comfortable and the pants, oh the pants.  The pants are AWESOME.  Color me addicted. P.S why do I look like have purple lips?!

Favorite Beauty Tool: Clinique Chubby Stick
I love my Clinique Chubby Stick in Budding Blossom.  It looks super sheer when it goes on and adjusts to the color of my lip (or the wearer, I think.)  It's super moisturizing, has no strong flavor and never can explode and make a mess in your bag.  Love.

That's it for this week!  Have a fabulous weekend!

  1. That Clinique lip color looks very pretty! Congrats on the gluten free cake. I know how much work goes into that stuff! My son is autistic and we did a gluten free dairy free diet just to see if it would help.(When he was younger) We kept it up for a year, but decided ultimately that Luke was affected more by dairy. We now go light on the dairy now and opt for almond milk, etc. I will keep that cake mix brand in mind to recommend for those that may need it. XO

  4. I have been dying to try Fabletics, too. I keep almost pulling the trigger but the subscription part gets me. I dont know that I can remember to decline their choices every month and then I will end up with all these dumb outfits I dont want or face restocking fees.

  7. Seriously. Drinks. I used to only do water but lately calorie full drinks have been my "mommy reward". Oh well!

  8. I still have yet to have a PSL yet this season, partly because I read about all the chemicals in them and partly because I've been loving on the chai tea latte. But I know I'll be sad if I don't have at least one :-P

    Happy Friday gurlie!

  11. I really dig the Fabletics pants. I usually wear Old Navy capris & pants, but their tops are not my favorite. Everyone's on board with tunic tops, so why are their athletic tops so short?
