I'm now reading Shopaholic to the Stars by Sophie Kinsella. I love it. I have loved every Shopaholic book, I don't care how cheesy and mindless they are. I love it even more because it brings me back to LA. It's a great download (would be even better on the beach!)

My New Favorite Lamp
Target is killing it with their lamps lately. I want to buy new ones every time I am in there, and have wasted a solid hour mixing the bases and lamps. #timesuck #itsawesome I picked up this base and this shade for our bedroom (times two, of course.) I love them and now I wanted the larger mercury glass bases for our living room.

I got this in a giveaway I won from Amanda and loved it so much I ordered a second bottle. This stuff is amazing and I wore it all summer. It's equally awesome in the winter (a big suprise!) It has a very light scent, it's super light when it goes on and dries right away, BUT it gives great moisture. It's a little pricey but it literally lasted me months.
I live for family pictures, ordering cards, and addressing, stuffing of the cards annually. I think getting holiday cards in the mail may be one of the best little highs in life. The kids and I race to the mailbox every day to check for them and add them to our growing wall of cards! I am going to try to make a DIY cork holder thing... once I figure out where one buys a yardstick?
I love to hate this thing - he goes by Gingersnap in our house. Some nights we get an awesome idea and get really into it and other nights are totally half-assed. I do, however, really love the book. It's just the right length and it's pretty cute. If you don't feel like dealing with the elf (I can't blame you!) give the book a try!
