Friday Favorites

Happy Friday lovelies!  I'm linking up with Amanda to chat about everything I'm loving this week!

Girls' Weekends
I'm pretty sure these should be mandatory.  My girlfriends from college get together regularly, and it is so good for the soul.  I love that we make an effort to spend time together, and just a night away can be SO refreshing, especially when it is with the people you can talk about anything/drink Fireball at 1:00 in the afternoon with!

Favorite Smoothie
My current smoothie recipe that has been on repeat:  one scoop chocolate protein powder, 1/2 banana, one tablespoon almond butter, handful of spinach and ice. Blend, blend, blend!

 Favorite Find
What's old is new again, right?  I found some of my goodies from the '80's... sweet hair band and New Kids on the Block bracelet.  Raise your hand if you're a child of the 80s/90s!

Others...
Our Easter brunch included a bloody mary bar, something that I need to make happen at our house for some sort of event asap!

I'm trying to curb my cheese intake and be really good with my diet, but some days you just need to make a cheese plate.  I made this with whatever we had in the fridge.  I always buy the most "clean" meats I can, aka nitrate free, no antibiotics.  That dip in the center is truffle parmesan white bean dip.  I am not sure the brand of it, but if you ever see something similar, I highly recommend grabbing it and devouring it!

Josh and I managed to sneak away for a couple of hours, thanks to my sister in law, and catch the Opening Day game in Philadelphia.  My husband is a Red Sox fan, so ignore that nonsense, and let's get excited for baseball season, warm days, and Summer Shandy!

I can't forget these two goofballs! They had a great Easter and Spring Break filled with candy, American Girl Dolls, candy, lots of time outside, visiting friends, and candy!  They're tiny little hams!

That's it for this week! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

  4. Woohoo for baseball being back!! How fun that you got to go to opening day! I really need to make more of an effort to buy better meat - we are always having sandwiches but the different brands are so overwhelming as to what's actually healthy. Happy Friday!!
