This dog kills me lately and she is FINALLY going to get a good grooming in a few days. I have had the hardest time finding a good place to get her groomed. She had a couple very traumatic experiences when we lived in LA so she is a very nervous girl about it, and most places won't deal with a dog like that. That, plus every place I try has a months long waiting list. It's easier for me to get into a salon!
Besides dog beauty issues, we have been traveling like maniacs. Seriously, the kids and I are living out of suitcases and have been home for a handful of days in the last couple of months. We have beeb able to spend a lot of time at the beach, which is the best way to spend Summer!
After years of being terrified of the ocean and loathing sand (Avery still feels that anger towards sand on the beach) the kids FINALLY decided they like the beach! Watching them play in the waves is one of my absolute favorite things!
I love watching them play almost as much as I love discovering backpack chairs for kids! Hauling chairs for them down to the beach is no joke, but when I saw they made these I snapped up two in pink and blue. Mamas, these are fanfreakingtastic and have saved my back in the best way!
In other good things, a friend of mine whipped up these delicious spritzers that I can't stop thinking about. They're all I want to make this Summer and you can basically use whatever you have on hand in your fridge! Where are all my other spritzer lovers at?
I'm also starting to get pretty decent at giving Avery hair do's. Granted, she complains the entire time I am doing it that it hurts and I am not doing it fast enough, but I am pretty happy with how they turn out. I can barely get my own hair into a decent looking ponytail these days so I will be living vicariously through her while my hair goes uncombed.
Finally, can we discuss my childrens' obsession with selfies? The amount of selfies are on camera I open are insane. They snap pictures all day long. They could give Kim K. a run for her money!

those babies are precious!! and that chair is GENIUS!!
