Easy, Straight Hair

One of the things people never seem to know about me is that I do not have straight hair.  I have very wavy, borderline curly hair.  The back of my hair is super curly, like straight up ringlets and the front tends to be wavy.  I can blow dry my hair to no end and it will still start to curl back up the next day, or within a few hours if its humid enough.  It takes me a LONG time to blow dry my hair straight; more time than I am graced with the patience to do very often. The lesson?  I have to make my blow dry's last!

My favorite tool to extend a blow out?  A fantastic hair straightener.

Two other key players?  Dry shampoo and de-frizzing cream.

Over the years, I have used the same straightening iron over and over.... and over and over.  I have gone through three of it, and while I like it, I don't love it.  It leaves my hair smelling like oven cleaner and always leaves a crease.  Unfortunately, most irons don't heat high enough to get through my super thick curls, and if they are ceramic, they just don't do anything for me.  Trust me, I have bought and tossed at least ten in the past five years.

Until the Diamond Hair Styler entered my life.  Said hair straightener from above has finally faced retirement and I am burnt hair free!   My hair is straight and healthy.  The iron heats to 450 (key for me)  and glide through my hair, quickly straightening it without burning it.  It doesn't leave a crease from being too hot, leaving my hair feeling healthy and shiny.  When I straighten my hair with this it lasts.  Instead of having to run the iron over it daily, I do it on Day 2 (Day 1 is blowout) and I am good for Day 3... and sometimes 4 without having to use it again.

The Diamond Hair Styler features ceramic plates coated with crushed diamond particles mixed with tourmaline, which will help your hair's natural oils, color and moisture in.

These pictures are when I normally use the iron, the day after I have blown my hair straight.

Here is my go-to routine for my hair:
Day 1 : Blow Dry Hair Straight
Day 2: Dry Shampoo + Iron hair
Day 3:  Dry Shampoo
Day 4:  Hair UP in a ponytail.  There's nothing left to help at this point!

1. Dove Dry Shampoo - Dry shampoo the hell out of hair and brush through really well.
2. Diamond Hair Styler - Straighten, straighten, straighten! I use a paddle brush with really sturdy bristles on mine.
3. Phytodéfrisant - Finish with a tiny drop of de-frizzing oil to keep flyaways at bay, and seal the hair shaft.

This is so easy and makes my straight hair last me most of the week!  All you need are a couple of amazing tools and you are good to go!
*I was compensated with a free hair iron by Irresistable Me, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.  I thoroughly tested this before considering it.
