Wino Wednesday

Happy Wino Wednesday lovelies!  It's time sip and share your favorite bottle with Amanda and I!  The link up is at the bottom - scroll down to join!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

We went to the New Jersey Food and Wine Festival last year and basically fell completely in love with Duckhorn Wines.  Their bottles are pretty pricey, but they offer a less expensive range called Decoy.  Josh and I picked up the Decoy Pinot Noir for a date night last weekend at a BYOB and were both so happy with it.  I always forget Pinot Noirs because I am such a Cab girl, but they're just so mild and delicious.  I also love being a California wine ('Merica) and just love this wine.  We went back immediately after dinner to get a couple more bottles because we loved it so much!

I'm also on the hunt for a wine fridge... because we need one.  I'm throwing need here around real casually.  We want one, but we don't have any space for one in our kitchen.  You're all so smart and have great taste, what to do?  Is it weird to put one in our living room?  We have our bar in the living room, but is a small wine fridge just cheesy in there?  Help a girl out!

Now it's your turn.  What are you loving?  Join us below and on the first Wednesday of the month, every month!

  1. My girlfriend purchased a wine fridge and had the same problem, where to put it...she put it in the corner of her dining room and it fit nicely there. Depending on the decor of it, I think they could go fine in a livingroom especially if you have a bar already there. Pinot Noirs, I did one too this month. I've been getting more of them lately and finding that I enjoy their mild flavors. Thanks Lindsay for hosting again this month.

  2. The label on the bottle is super cute. I have our wine rack in our living room and it looks perfectly fine. I think a fridge will be perfect in a lil nook.

  3. I don't think a wine fridge would look weird there! I can give you the wine fridge that we got--it's not super large, but not super small either and has worked really well since we got it almost 2 years ago!

  4. I've always wanted to try these out purely because of the duck on the label. I'm a totally judge the wine by it's label kinda girl. And yay for a wine fridge, that's a need girl! I'd say either remove a lower cabinet, and have it installed in the kitchen or if there's truly no room install it next to your bar in the living room <3

  6. Sounds good although I'm not a huge Pinot person. But I'll admit there are a few that impress me! I just think I like a more full bodied wine.

As for the wine fridge - go for it! I love mine. There are some that fit on counters, if you have the space. But I think you can pull it off in the living room!

  7. I'm so glad you asked that question because I am having the same dilemma. I don't have room in my kitchen based on the design and have been wondering about my living room. Glad to know there are others doing the same. Your wine choice sounds like a good one to try. Thanks for hosting. :)

  8. Ohh must try this wine!! I go back and forth between Pinot and Cab but haven't had a good pinot in awhile. What does the bar space look like? I say go for, wine fridges are awesome! My sister has a small one in her dining room on top of a shelf/console table.

  9. Pinot Noir is one of my favorites and I have been seeing this one more and more in the stores. I think next time I will have to pick one up!
