It's no secret that I'm a total green smoothie junkie. I have been pretty consistently eating/drinking them for three years now. I will occasionally stray into the chocolate zone, but I always end up craving the green ones. I always thought I had some sort of iron deficiency and it makes me crave spinach, and a green smoothie is one of the easiest ways to get in more spinach!
I have been trying to cut down on my dairy intake (insert: tiny violins) so I have been using almond milk and the vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free protein. You could always add a dash of super green powder to this as well and it would be delicious! I am positive adding the chia seeds to this keep me much fuller than any other smoothie I make. All hail the mighty chia!
