Beauty: Empties Vol. 1

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7
1. Dove Dry Shampoo - This is my go-to drugstore brand dry shampoo.  It leaves a white residue, so I recommend using a soft bristle brush if you're not a blonde and not going overboard when you spray it in.  It's a great bang for your buck.
Would I re-purchase:  Yes
2.  Arbonne Moisturizer - This is a great lightweight moisturizer, made with more natural ingredients than most brands.  It has SPF and collage boosting ingredients in it.  It also does not have a crazy smell and is very gentle on sensitive skin.
Would I re-purchase:  Yes
3. Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector - This is a whole bunch of good stuff rolled into one:  primer, pore minimizer, and improver of skin quality.  I don't think it necessarily does those things, but it definitely makes your skin feel like butter.  That being said, it's very small in size for the price and separates very easily (oil and other ingredients seem to come apart.)  I don't know that it made my makeup go on as well as other primers, either.
Would I re-purchase:  No
4. Trish McEvoy Finish Line -  I have been using this for years and love it and swear by it.  It basically turns any eyeshadow into a liner, and not just the way water and a brush does.  It makes it so the liner you created doesn't run and stay put.  I LOVE this stuff!  One tiny drop is enough to line both eyes so your bottle lasts you a long time.  I am already onto another bottle!  I would say I use one every year.
Would I re-purchase:  Yes
5. Arbonne Cellular Renewal Masque - This mask is intense, especially if you have sensitive skin.  It's supposed to gently exfoliate and help with skin tone, however, it burned my skin each time I used it to the point that I could never leave it on for the full time, and still had a searing red face for hours.  I didn't see or feel any visible difference in my tone or texture after using it.
Would I re-purchase:  No
6.  Dermalogica Intense Eye Repair - I so wanted to love this eye cream, but it just didn't happen.  I didn't see any improvement in the fine lines creeping up around my eyes and this didn't help de-puff my endlessly bloated under eyes in the morning.  I was very sad about all of this because I love Dermalogica and had such high hopes for this.
Would I re-purchase:  No
7.  Lindi Face Wash -  This is a great, simple, easy to use face wash.  I love the pump bottle, the price point (under $20!), and it's super mild while giving a good cleanse.
Would I re-purchase:  Yes

  4. Have you ever tried Pantene Dry Shampoo? That is my FAVORITE! I like it better than all the expensive ones, too. It is cheap, doesn't leave any white residue, works great and smells AMAZING!

  6. Love these posts! I'm surprised to hear the not so great review of the Kiehls skin perfector - that's usually a brand you can never go wrong with!
